At The Giving Angel, we take great care to ensure your handcrafted angel arrives beautifully packaged and on time. Whether you’re sending a meaningful gift across Melbourne or beyond, we offer reliable delivery options to suit your needs.

The price of your angel includes complimentary express post shipping.

1. Same-Day Delivery – Metro Melbourne

Our same-day service is perfect for those special, last-minute gifts that deserve to arrive with care and meaning.

We offer same-day delivery across Melbourne Metro via our trusted courier partner, GoPeople. This premium service has a flat fee of $10 per parcel. 

  • Place your order before 12pm (midday) Monday–Friday, or before 10am on Saturday, to ensure it arrives that same day.

  • Orders placed after these cut-off times or on Sunday will be delivered the following business day.

Same-day delivery orders are authorised to be left at delivery addresses by default. If you do not want your order left at the delivery address, please leave delivery instructions at checkout, or change your delivery preferences via the live tracking link. 

You will be notified if an order cannot be delivered or safely left at the delivery address, in which case collection or redelivery may be possible. A fee may apply for redelivery or redirection requests to cover the courier's costs.

Unforeseen events, like weather or major traffic delays, may mean your order needs to be delivered later than expected. Please get in touch if we can help.

Same-day delivery can be selected at the checkout for delivery addresses which fall within the GoPeople coverage area. 

2. Express Delivery – Australia-Wide

We ship with Australia Post Express to ensure fast, tracked delivery across Australia. This service is complimentary. 

  • Metro cities and major regional centres: typically arrive within 1–2 business days.

  • Remote or regional areas: please allow an additional day for delivery.

You’ll receive tracking details once your angel has been dispatched, so you can follow its journey every step of the way.

3. PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers

Australia Post Express also delivers to:

  • PO Boxes — next business day where within the Express network

  • Parcel Lockers — same rule applies

You can confidently choose Express Delivery even if your recipient uses a PO Box or Parcel Locker.

We proudly deliver Australia-wide, covering all major cities and regional centres through Australia Post Express and GoPeople (same-day within Melbourne Metro).

Victoria (VIC)

  • Melbourne — full metro coverage

  • Express Post: next-business-day delivery (where in network)

  • GoPeople: same-day within Melbourne Metro

New South Wales (NSW)

  • Sydney — full metro coverage

  • Express Post: next-business-day delivery

  • Fast coverage to Newcastle, Wollongong, Central Coast, Blue Mountains

Queensland (QLD)

  • Brisbane — full metro coverage

  • Express Post: next-business-day delivery

  • Fast regional delivery to Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba, Cairns, Townsville (typically 1–3 days)

South Australia (SA)

  • Adelaide — full metro coverage

  • Express Post: next-business-day delivery

  • Fast regional delivery to Mount Gambier, Port Lincoln, Whyalla (typically 2–3 days)

Western Australia (WA)

  • Perth — full metro coverage

  • Express Post: next-business-day delivery within WA

  • East-coast to WA typically 2–4 business days with Express

Australian Capital Territory (ACT)

  • Canberra — full coverage

  • Express Post: next-business-day delivery

Northern Territory (NT)

  • Darwin and Palmerston — covered (not next-day guaranteed)

  • Express Post: typically 2–3 business days

  • Remote NT (e.g. Alice Springs, Katherine): 3–5 days

5. Areas Not Covered by Express Next-Day Service

While Australia Post Express offers extensive coverage, some areas fall outside their next-day network.

Typical non-guaranteed delivery areas include:

  • Remote and rural regions (e.g. Outback WA, NT, Far North QLD, remote SA)

  • Offshore territories (e.g. Norfolk Island, Christmas Island)

  • Smaller or newly developed regional towns not yet in the Express network

Rest assured — even in these areas, your angel will still be delivered as quickly as possible via priority express service.

6. Deliveries to Hospitals

Australia Post can deliver parcels to hospitals, provided the hospital has a valid street delivery address (not just a PO Box) and the selected service covers the postcode.

To ensure smooth delivery:

  • Include the hospital name, ward or unit (if applicable), street address, suburb, and postcode.

  • Avoid using only a PO Box unless the hospital has a dedicated PO Box for parcels that is accepted by Australia Post.

  • If possible, add a short note in the delivery instructions (e.g. “Deliver to XYZ Hospital Mail Room – Ward 3A”) to help the courier locate the recipient easily.

7. Tracking Updates

You will receive tracking updates once your angel has been dispatched. Emails will be sent to the email you provide, and text messages will be sent to the phone number provided with the delivery address.

You’ll be able to follow your parcel’s journey from our studio to its destination, ensuring peace of mind every step of the way.

8. Delivery Details

The more detail you include, the better.

Please provide any helpful information such as building names, gate codes, delivery instructions, or business names. This helps to ensure your angel reaches its destination without delay or redirection.
