Yes, the donation you make to the charity when you purchase an Angel is tax deductible. You will receive a receipt upon purchase that you can use to claim that deduction come tax time.

Each angel is $70 (including express shipping and GST). This covers the local artists, sustainable materials, thoughtful packaging, careful handling, and the responsible administration of your charitable donation. You select a donation amount of $20, $50, or $100—100% of which goes directly to an ACNC registered charity.

Every angel is cushioned in custom-designed, Australian-made packaging using sustainable materials, including the mailer box. This ensures your angel stays safe and beautiful in transit and the planet does too.

With proper care, your angel’s dried floral arrangement will last for many years. Keep it somewhere dry and out of direct sunlight, away from little hands or curious pets.

At this stage, we do not offer refills. Your angel is designed to be a long-lasting keepsake as is. If needed, a local florist may be able to help refresh the arrangement.

Each angel is hand-painted and crafted and assembled in Australia by independent artists and florists. We are proud to support local creatives and keep every part of the process as close to home as possible.

The Giving Angel is a registered Australian business and not a charity. At The Giving Angel, we partner with and support ACNC registered charities by collecting donations on their behalf. Our goal is to bring you a diverse offering of the most respected, transparent and accountable charities.

100% of the donations are transferred to your selected charity and carefully lodged in accordance with our agreements with the charities and our legal responsibilities. We maintain transparency and compliance with every donation, including through accounting and record keeping as required by fundraising legislation.

We select charities based on several factors: their transparency, community impact, reliance on donations, and representation of different causes. Our aim is to give you a meaningful and personal choice for your recipient.

At this time, our mission is to give in two directions, support local makers through the Giving Angel business and support our carefully chosen charities. As such, donations to charities and angel purchases go hand-in-hand. If you’d like to donate separately, we encourage you to do so via the charity’s official website.
